A deal was finalised today for HS Motorsport to purchase a Formula Renault 2000 which Brett will use to compete in the 2008 BARC Formula Renault Championship. Team boss Ian Hunter was quoted in Autosport as saying:

“We’d like to move along with Brett. In our first season a podium would be great. We understand its competitive and it’ll be a steep learning curve”.
                       
He went on to say “We hope to also continue with Jedi because it is such good value for money. That’s also one of the appeals with Renault”.

An excited Brett said “Our alliance with HS Motorsport has been so successful in Jedi this year that I think it’s a logical step for myself and the team”.

They now look forward to a testing program in the Renault during the remainder of the season and over the winter in an attempt to hit the ground running in 2008.
