10/06/06 » Suzuki » Lack of straight line speed is solved
A gap in the busy schedule of the Formula Jedi factory meant that the team could finally begin the eagerly awaited switch from the Yamaha to the Suzuki engine.
“… We’ve been really struggling with the Yamaha this year, we think we’ve been around 20 horse power down on the Suzuki runners, so it’s a big relief to be making the switch. I’m hoping we’ll now be in a position to challenge for race wins…”
With serious modifications to the chassis necessary to accommodate the Suzuki, the Jedi factory and the team definitely have their work cut out to get the car ready for round 5 at Snetterton.![]() |
